Cat6 Unshielded Cable

Cat6 Unshielded Cable — CCTV & Networking | Bulk 305m Boxes | Pre-Terminated Leads | RJ45 Plugs | PoE Ready

Cat6 unshielded cable is the standard for IP camera and network installations across Australia — carrying both power and data over a single run for PoE devices, and delivering fast, reliable connectivity for networking applications. Whether you’re running cable to IP cameras, connecting network switches, wiring up a home office, or completing a mixed CCTV and data fitout, this category has what you need: bulk 305m boxes for larger installations, pre-terminated leads for straightforward drops, and RJ45 plugs for on-site termination.

Pre-Terminated Leads — The Fastest Way to Connect a Camera or Device

The Wideband pre-terminated Cat6 CCTV leads are cut to length, terminated, and tested — ready to plug straight into your camera, NVR, switch, or network device. No crimping, no tools, no waste. If you’re installing a HiLook or Hikvision kit and want the cleanest, fastest result, a pre-terminated lead per camera is the right choice. Equally useful for clean network runs between switches, access points, and wall plates. Available in multiple lengths to suit different installation distances.

Bulk 305m Cable — For Larger Installations and Trade Buyers

Hikvision Cat6 UTP cable in 305m boxes is the choice for electricians and installers running cable through roof spaces, wall cavities, and conduit — for CCTV, data, or both on the same job. Solid copper core, PVC jacket, PoE ready — the right specification for permanent IP camera and network installations. Buy by the box and terminate on site with Hikvision Cat6 RJ45 plugs, also available in this category.

Solid Copper Core — Why Cable Quality Matters for PoE

Not all Cat6 cable is equal. Cheap imported cable is often CCA — copper clad aluminium — which looks identical but has significantly higher resistance than solid copper. On longer camera runs, CCA cable causes voltage drop that results in cameras dropping offline, failing to power on, or performing below specification. Every cable in this category uses a solid copper core, giving you the full PoE power delivery your cameras need — reliably, across the full length of the run. If you’ve had cameras dropping offline on a previous installation and can’t find the cause, cheap cable is often the culprit.

Which Cable Do I Need?

📦 Installing a kit or running a few network drops yourself? — Pre-terminated leads are the easiest option. Measure the distance from each camera or device to your NVR or switch, add a metre or two for routing, and order the nearest available length.

🔧 Electrician or installer on a larger job? — A 305m box gives you the flexibility to cut every run to exact length across CCTV and data points on the same roll. Pair with Hikvision RJ45 plugs for a clean, professional termination.
